About the Conference
The Field Epidemiology Training Program in Haiti (FETP-Haiti) is organizing its 1st Scientific Conference with the theme: FETP-Haiti, 10 Years of Contribution to Strengthening the Haitian Public Health System. The conference will be held both in person in Port-au-Prince as well as virtually from November 14 to 17, 2021. The conference offers an opportunity for FETP trainees and graduates from all countries to share their work with the scientific community. Abstracts are being accepted for oral presentation, seminars, and plenary sessions.
Areas of interest for abstracts include, but are not limited to:
- Emerging diseases
- Outbreak investigations
- Surveillance activities
- Evaluation of public health programs
- Innovation in public health
- Other topics related to field epidemiology and public health
Submission Requirements and Instructions
Applicants should submit original abstracts which have not been presented at an international conference or published in a peer-reviewed journal. Projects should be related to the theme or sub-themes of the conference and should have been completed within the last three years (i.e., not earlier than May 2018). Abstracts must be submitted in French or English.
Important Dates
The deadline for abstract submissions is July 15, 2021, at 23:59 Haitian Time. Applicants will be notified of abstract acceptances during August 23-29, 2021.
